Ennis is an expert columnist for CPR Headquarters. He writes about healthy choices and educating the public on CPR. He started his career with the US Navy after attempting to be accepted in Universities in and around the state of Texas. He was declined entry based on his parent’s education. After ten years in the military, Ennis gained employment with Hartson Medical Services (Currently American Medical Response) and the Del Mar Fire Department. He works as a paramedic and is a Field Training Officer. Ennis instructs at some of the local colleges in San Diego County.
Ennis has received awards for his speaking ability to high schools, colleges, businesses, the military, and to professional sports players. He has trained many paramedics who have gained employment across the country and he is credited for changing the lives of many high risk teenagers who have and could have been incarcerated. Some of these students graduated from high school and college to become nurses, doctors, scientist, police officers, politicians, and more.
Ennis continued his education by achieving his BS degree in Business Administration, his MBA in Business Management, and he is currently working on his PH.D in Emergency Management. During his career, Ennis has received the following awards:
